In answer to questions about how to get images to show in News Magazine Theme 640 when running with the magazine layout turned on, you do not need to do anything differently from how you normally do it. As long as you are attaching the images to your posts by uploading them from your computer using the Add an Image -> Add media files from your computer in your post editor, the last image you upload to your post will display automatically.
If the image is not showing up it might be because your system is not able to process the function that prepares the image for the cropper to display. In that case there is an alternate function you can try so use the contact form to request the file with the alternate function.

where is the ‘theme options’?
I installed it to my 2.8.4 version. I went to Editor under Appearances/Themes, then the News Mag 604 theme and saw the long list to the right. Where is the option to turn on/off the magazine style you describe in your mini-description?
A few people have contacted me with concerns over the “Add Post” link that appears in the menu that goes to the dashboard when clicked. They are concerned this link gives access to the dashboard to anyone who clicks it. This concern is unnecessary. The “Add Post” link only appears if you are logged in as the administrator. If you are logged out you will notice the link does not appear. If you login as someone other than the admin you will also notice that the link does not appear. This is because the link is never shown to anyone other than the administrator. However, if you still prefer to remove the link, please keep an eye out for version 188.8.131.52 of the theme. I will add a remove option to the theme options to make it easier for you to remove the link.
In the meantime, please be assured that no one but you, the administrator, can access the dashboard through the “Add Post” link displayed in the menu because no one buy you, the administrator, is shown the “Add Post” link.
