Antisnews Premium is the new premium version of Antisnews. The previous versions of Antisnews are officially discontinued.  There will now be two versions of Antisnews:  Antisnews Premium and a free version of Antisnews.

The design of Antisnews is now more flexible. In previous versions each featured section had a fixed height. This created issues of content truncation. There is no longer a fixed height for any featured section or any of the content rows. The idea behind the fixed height was to prevent situations where one column might contain more content than another and create lots of white space in adjacent columns. This problem has been addressed with the inclusion of widgetized areas. The widgetized areas can serve as content fillers so that you can avoid excessive white space. This change also allows for the increasing of your thumbnail sizes which can be done from the dashboard in Antisnews Premium.

Both the premium and free versions of Antisnews include a CSS Styling tool. The tool in the free version is a lighter version of the one in the premium version that allows for a few basic css style changes via the dashboard. In the premium version the tool allows for a larger number of CSS modifications.   Below are some examples of the settings from the styling tool:

Page Body

Page Background Color.
The background color for your website pages. Hex value only. Example #000000. For no background color enter the word [none] without brackets.

Page Background Image
Full location of background image if using an image as background for your website pages. Include http://.

Background Image Repeat Status
If using image as background for your pages select image repeat status.

Background Image top/bottom align
If using image as background for your pages select the top/bottom alignment if needed.

Background Image left/right/center align
If using image as background for your pages select the left/right/center alignment if needed.

Background Attachment
If using image as background for your pages select the background attachment setting if needed.

Main font color
The font color for your website pages. Must be visible on page background color. Hex value only. Example #000000. For no background color enter the word [none] without brackets.

Main font size
The font size for your website pages. Include numerical value and font type. Example 10px, 10pt, 1.1em, 75%.

First Font Style
The font you want to use as your main font. Example: Arial

Second Font Style
The font you want to use as your first backup in case user does not have main font installed. Example: Tahoma

Third Font Style
The font you want to use as your second backup in case user does not have main or first backup font installed. Example: Verdana

Fourth Font Style
The font you want to use as your third backup in case user does not have main, first or second backup font installed. Example: Georgia

Main link color
The font you want to use for all standard links that do not have their own class definitions. Hex value only. Example #0000ff.

Main link hover color
The font you want to use for all standard links when mouse hovers over link. Hex value only. Example #0000ff.

Main link visited color
The font you want to use for all standard links that have already been visited. Hex value only. Example #0000ff.

Link text decoration
Select underline to use underlined links or none to remove underline from links

In Antisnews Premium you can control the thumbnail sizes for each featured section. You can also control how many post excerpts to display for all featured sections.

Both the free and premium versions of Antisnews provide the ability to control the excerpt length for all featured categories.

There will be some things that will need to be reset when you switch from your current version of Antisnews to Antisnews Premium. In particular, Antisnews no longer uses the Tier 2 120 filler space. That area is now fully widgetized, so if you have an ad in that space you will need to move it to a text widget and drag it to Magazine Sidebar Home Two. The filler space in row 3 “Tier 3 Right” is also now widgetized, so if you have content in that space it will need to be placed in a text widget and dragged to Magazine Sidebar Home Three.
