If anyone is using a version earlier than 1.5.9 and still having problems with thumbnails please update to version 1.5.9 which you can download from the downloads page. It has a number of the fixes that have been posted here already applied and provides a way for you to switch between thumbnail functions from the theme options page. If after updating you continue to have problems, please consider using the contact form to reach me with regard to checking your site specifically to see if I can track down the problem. Checking your site specifically will mean I will need to gain access to your server for testing purposes.
This is going to be time consuming, but it will work. This is what I did…
Removed all of the photos that weren't showing up, and re-uploaded the photos into "thumbnail", as long as the photos weren't already in your photo gallery.
After you've done this, go to "New Magazine" settings in your Dashboard, toward the very bottom left. You will see the first option to "turn on or off" the magazine theme. Turn off the Magazine theme for a few seconds, refresh your webpage to make sure that it worked, and then turn the Magazine theme back on.
