Hi Jim, sorry for the delayed response. In the main featured section with the slideshow, you need to upload a picture that is at least 550 by 300pixels. The medium pictures are cropped from the medium sizes of uploaded pictures and the smaller pictures are cropped from the small.

I use Windows Live Writer to post to my blogs.  It is excellent.  It works with WordPress, TypePad and even Joomla! sites.

I notice when I add a photo using Windows Live Writer that it does not show up resigned etc.  I can understand why.  You even state that for photos to get pulled in and resized they need to be uploaded using the WP posting editor and use the Media Upload.
I have not played with it much yet…I did a couple of uploads and the re-resizing is not 100% correct.
I am sure I am doing something wrong.  Any tips on the Media Upload of a image to get it to re-size best?
I am wondering if I should make the image a certain size and if then it would re-size better.

I wonder if my error is not going in to the WP Dashboard and going to Media Settings and setting those three sizes to

certain sizes best for your excellent theme?
Right now it is set at Thumbnail size 150×150
  Medium size: 320×240
  Large size: 450×450

I hope not all the people that buy your themes are as slow as I am.  Laugh

  Jim
