I did some searching through the wordpress, and found these steps to make it 800×600 compliant, though I haven't tested it with alot of content yet. It may break the front page and will definitly rearange it:
subtract 300 from every number over 900 (Style.php) > search for "#wrapper" > search for "#maincontainer" > search for "#contentcontainer" (change 990 to 690) > search for "1010″ (change to 710) (except for #content, it should be smaller then #contentcontainer, I set it to 650) > search for "#footer"
