IMPORTANT FOR ANYONE USING CSS STYLING TOOL

An email was sent out to all who have purchased the CSS Styling Tool, however it seems some did not receive it. Please use the contact form to request the CSS Styling Tool for Producer 2.1.9 before you upgrade to 2.1.9. The current CSS Styling Tool is not compatible with Producer 2.1.9.

Version 2.1.9 additions and fixes (Note the version number in the file will read 2.1.9.0)

Download | Demo

CSS style code no longer displayed in header of page

Producer options now stored in single database row. In previous versions each option was saved in an individual row. This used up a great deal of space in the database. Version 2.1.9 stores all standard Producer options in one row and all css styling tool options in another so you will now only have 2 rows in the database being used by Producer to store options.

Repeating post bug fixed – in magazine mode with widgets turned on the featured post for certain categories was being repeated in the sub-lists.

Logo alignment issue fixed – for those of you who are using an image that spans the 990 pixels width of the header, there was a conditional omission in previous versions that resulted in the image being pushed 10 pixels to the right so that there was white space at the beginning and an overlap at the end and the image right and left margins did not align with the row below it. This problem should now be fixed in version 2.1.9

Browser.php no longer used to track user browser. This was causing a PHP version compatibility problem. Note that version2.1.9 is still being cross-browser checked so please report any browser specific issues you might encounter, particular with Internet Explorer 6 and 7

Sidebar search bug fixed. In previous versions the sidebar search widget was failing to properly display the search button. It was also  not fitting in the widget space. This has been fixed.

  1. Hi

the CSS Styling Tool I have is not working well with this new producer version. My website title should in uppercase.

Is a new CSS Styling tool on the way?

    • jpires, you should have received a new copy of the CSS Styling Tool via email with a message explaining that the previous version is not compatible with version 2.1.9 of Producer.

  2. Hi

I just installed the latest Producer theme on a brand new WordPress install with no plugins.

For some reason, after I added my tagline, it shows two taglines on my website. Also, It always displays on the right, even if I select it to show on the left.

Can you tell me how to fix this?

    • @RainCoats, looking into this.

      • Great work and thanks for the quick fix. Now only one tagline displays as expected.

However, I still can’t make the tagline display on the left, even though I select that option in the produce options. It seems to only display on the right…. the center and left options don’t work.

      • @RainCoats, which version are you using? Do you have wp_super_cache or another caching plugin installed? Asking because the left and center are working for me. Can you double-check that you are not viewing a cached page and verify that you you are using the latest version?

  3. i am using the latest version and I did not have any plugins installed. It was a fresh wordpress auto install.

    • @RainCoats, please download version 2.1.9.4 and see if that fixes the problem

      • I just installed version 2.1.9.4 and it still does not work. It behaves about the same as before. Nothing is cached. I finally did install super cache but turned it off and deleted the caches. I am not sure why it is working on yours but not mine.

      • @RainCoats, I will need to check the problem directly on your site if that is okay
