1. Go to your dashboard

2. Click Appearance

3. Click News Magazine Theme 640 Options

4. Navigate to Leaderboard Space Content

5. Inside the textbox insert the HTML code for your ad. It should look something like

<img src=”http://www.thedomainforyourimage.com/theimagefile.jpg”>

Let’s say your site is randomsitename.com and your image file name is randomimagefilename.jpg and you have uploaded the image for your ad to your news magazine theme folder. Lets assume your news magazine folder is named news-magazine-theme-640, then your code would look like

<img src=”http://www.randomsitename.com/wp-content/themes/news-magazine-theme-640/randomimagefilename.jpg”>

If you want to make the image clickable you would need to wrap it inside anchor tags as in the example below.

<a href=”http://www.siteimageshouldlinkto.com”><img src=”http://www.randomsitename.com/wp-content/themes/news-magazine-theme-640/randomimagefilename.jpg”></a>

You would then insert the code into the Leaderboard Space Content box.

The option Leaderboard content text position allows you center the image or shift it to the left.

  1. Can anyone help me with my site? I have the News magazine theme with 3 different languages. The Chinese version does not display the preview text. I thought maybe it was just having trouble with the Chinese characters, but one of the posts is able to be previewed. Please take a look and let me know

  2. I have been looking through docs to find a solution to my issue, both here and wordpress forums but don’t seem to be getting anywhere.

    wp-admin/themes.php?page=functions.php open code stuck in text box.

    I placed a table with java script inside leader board within theme options, The table did not close which has locked themes.php?page=functions.php and can not remove the code or save settings now. Where is that input info stored so I can go in and manually remove that table to restore themes.php?page=functions.php to it’s normal working? You can see the box in the leader board here http://www.newsweird.com I was trying to place a random quote in the leader board and with the broken code stuck it doesnt work. The code I placed was a table which contained a text box form which contained a java script to generate the random quotes. That maybe one of the HTML 10 commandments “thou shall not put text box inside text box” ?
    So how to remove certain data from the themes.php?page=functions.php page?

  3. I have been unable to get this function to work. If anyone can advise I would much appreciate it. I have typed the code exactly as described and never am able to see a image. have changed directories, images, code , tried it all- typed into the leaderboard box as described.
    Nothing.
