It’s been a long wait and your patience is greatly appreciated but the CSS Styling Tool for Antisnews will be available in version 1.4 of Antisnews which is on schedule to be released by Friday March 19th. The styling tool will allow you to control your font colors, background colors, and a variety of other styling elements including:
- Ability to set background color for page
- Ability to set background color for blog title section
- Ability to control font size, color, transformation (lowercase, uppercase), link hover color of blog title
- Ability to control color, transformation, style(italics,normal,oblique), weight(normal,bold etc.), size of tagline
- Ability to control background color of navigation menu
- Ability to control font size, color, transformation, weight of navigation menu links
- Ability to control background/font colors for navigation drop down items
- Ability to control background/font for breaking news bar
- Ability to control background/links/bullets for each featured section
- Ability to control H1,H2,H3,H4,H5.H6 font color/weight/style
The above is only a small list of the style changes you will be able to make with the Antisnews CSS Styling Tool.
The version 1.4 update will also contain a number of structural improvements to the theme. If you are using the theme and have changes you would like to see made please post to the Antisnews discussion thread or reply to this post.

Trotter your comments regarding css improvements to Antisnews and the results of your Google analysis have been read. Not sure all the points can be addressed by version 1.4 but will certainly strive towards improving those numbers.
Good news, I have been trying for the past week to change #626263 to #6C3306 in the style.css to no avail.
Will there be an additional charge to upgrade from AntiSnew (current) to version 1.4?

One more important thing that should be improved in version 1.4 is the color of outgoing links. On post pages they are blue and the visitor can easily see them. But on regular pages they remain gray. If it’s possible please make them blue too. I don’t think it’s very difficult technically for professionals like you.

Frances G, the Antinews CSS Styling Tool is for use only with the Antisnews premium theme. It will be included in the premium package of Antisnews starting with the release of Antisnews version 1.4. All current users of Antisnews will be sent the new package via email.

Dear Admin,
I’ve tried to register my Antisnews site with McAfee and got the following response: “It appears that the Web site is returning an HTTP 2xx or 3xx status response code in the header of 404 pages. Please update your Web site server configuration to return 404 status codes in the headers for pages that do not exist.”
I’ve addressed my hosting support, and they said that “the site doesn’t have a custom 404 page set up, and the php script is taking over missing pages. You will need to create a custom 404 page”.
I was sure that Antisnews has done all the job already because it returnes a great “page not found” response. Isn’t it so?
trotter, sorry for the long time it has taken to respond. Antisnews has a 404 page that works within WordPress. Assuming your site is running strictly through WordPress then that 404 page should kick in when someone tries to call a page that does not exist.
is Antisnews CSS Styling Tool avalable now can we view the online demo?
The tool release has been delayed, but it will be ready before April. The tool will not be included in the demo. It will be available only to those who have purchased Antisnews.
Haven’t received Antinews’CSS Styling V1.4 yet, just checking for update of status.
Burnedbrass, if you still haven’t received your copy of Antisnews Premium 1.0 please let me know. There is no longer going to be an Antisnews Version 1.4. It is not Antisnews Premium 1.0.
