If you’re using Producer in non-magazine mode and you need to display the post meta on the index page when showing the full post text, you can download Producer-Show-Post-Meta.zip and replace your current copies of the file functions.php and the file index-thecontent.php with the ones included in Producer-Show-Post-Meta.zip.
The post meta displays the tags, categories the post is filed under and the comment status/comment link under the post content when the full content is displayed.
In Version 2.1 there will be an option for you to show or hide the post meta, but Version 2.1 is not available yet (as of this post). If you need immediate access to this option you can download Producer-Show-Post-Meta.zip. Producer-Show-Post-Meta.zip contains a copy of functions.php and a copy of index-thecontent.php. Replace your current copies of these two files with the ones in Producer-Show-Post-Meta.zip then go to your Dashboard and load the options form from the Appearance tab. You should see the new option Show/Hide post meta on index. It will be defaulted to “show”, but you still need to update the options to turn it on.
Producer includes the ability for you to move sidebars around or completely remove the sidebars on your static pages, but some people need to move the sidebars on a page by page basis instead of removing them from all pages, so there are now 3 page templates you can use with your individual pages. You can use the template that has only a left sidebar, the template that has only a right sidebar, or you can use the template that has no sidebars depending on your needs.
The page templates will be included in versions of Producer starting with 2.1, which has yet to be released, but you can grab the files in the meantime by downloading them using the link below. They are compatible with all versions of the theme earlier than 2.1.
Producer has been updated to Version 2.0. Version 2.0 fixes the following issues
When you removed sidebars the theme was not adjusting itself in width, resulting in empty white space where the sidebar used to be. This problem has been fixed in Version 2.0.
If both sidebars were set to the same position, the theme forced sidebar 1 to the left and sidebar 1 to the right. This meant that if you set the active sidebar on the homepage to position 2 or position 3 and the non-active sidebar had the same position value, your sidebar would not move from position 1. This problem has been fixed in Version 2.0.
If you had sticky-posts activated the post content was displaying raw PHP code. Also in non-magazine mode with sticky posts activated the rest of the posts were not displaying. This problem has been fixed inVersion 2.0.
Version 2.0 will not work with the CSS Styling Tools from the previous version so if you have the CSS Styling Tool and you have not received an email with the new CSS Styling Tool package please contact to request the new CSS Styling Tool package.
If you have activated the Producer theme on your site and you are now having problems accessing your WP dashboard because of an error stating

your site is not currently compatible with the available version of the Producer theme due to the version of PHP you are using.
Please download the copy of functions.php below and replace it with the one you currently have installed. It should enable you to login to your dashboard and activate a different theme. If you wish to use Producer please upgrade your version of PHP to at least version 5. If you are already using PHP 5 or higher please let us know.
