There is an error on line 58 in header.php of News Magazine Theme 640. The line references a function get_site_option. It should be get_option. To fix you can open header.php and navigate to line 58 and change get_site_option to get_option or you can download header.zip from here and replace your current copy with the the header.php file zipped up in header.zip.
Update: This errror “get_site_option” is also made in home.php and index.php. You can fix by finding and replacing in index.php and home.php reference to get_site_option with get_option, or you can fetch the corrected files from the latest package with version 1.6; or you can download only those files below.

Were you able to fix the Comment numbers not displaying correctly in Internet Explorer in versions 1.6.x? I’m still using 1.5.9 and was wondering if you could point me to the changes in the CSS that has this fix so I could update my files manually.
Also, is there a change log for 1.6.1, .3 and .3?
Jay, the IE comment numbers issue has not yet been fixed
I am having a couple of problems:
The single page has an empty column on the right
Photos on index page are truncated – See the photo with the article “Off with their heads”
Finally, There is no facility to leave Comments on the post page.

Richard, the thumbnail photos do get cropped. Regarding the empty column I am not sure what you are referring to. I do see some white space in the sidebar where you have activated the Extra content row. If that is what you mean, you will have to fill the space with the content of your choice using widgets.
I am trying to remove or at least replace the categories section within this wordpress theme, ideally with a ‘featured category 6′ to replace it. At present it seems to be a bit of a waste of space for I only have a few categories displayed on it. Chris!! http://www.propertyonvideo.co.uk

We cannot figure out how to link to a graphic for the leaderboard space content or the Tier 2 120 content.
Where can we find out how to do this?
Arthur, in the theme’s options page look for “Tier 2 120″ and enter your code into the text box
The actual code was the issue.
I found by posting it in the regular wordpress area and then copying the HTML over it worked out well. Thank you

I have installed the latest version of this template (1.6) but still having this problem when I do a research on the website.
There is no get_site_option in header.php, home.php, index.php, get_option only. Can you please advise how can I fix it? I’m on WP 2.9.2

Barbara, please accept my apology for taking so long to respond. I am not quite clear what the problem is you are having though. There is not supposed to be a get_site_option. That was a bug in some earlier versions. The correct function is get_option
