I downloaded your News Magazine Theme WP template today and really like it! But I’m having a problem with the display images in category 1 on the home page.
The image attached to the post in 133×252 pixels and I have WP media set to create proportional thumbnails (150×150). That allows the image to display correctly through WP media. But when the image is displayed in category 1 on the home page, I am still getting a cropped image. I tried using the alternate prepsimageurl function mentioned in the forum, then deleted and recreated the post. Still the image is cropped.
What can I do to get a proportional image on the home page?
The same problem, every time I use a non standard image, immediately I get problems on home page small thumbs.
Is it possible to fix this problem?
It is just two weeks I’m using this theme, and is really cool, just having this problem, and problem if I’am adding widgets and new banners.
Anyway it’s a really good job.

totalfootball, I am not 100% clear on the nature of the problems you’re experiencing.
If you need to change the values for the image cropping you will need to do it manually at this time by editing the files featuredX.php where X will be a number from 1 – 6. Example featured1.php will be the file you need to edit to change the values for Featured Category #1.
In each file look for reference to cropper.php. In that line you will see the values set as &h=142&w=200 (the values will vary). Change the values to what you prefer them to be, but keep in mind that these changes can affect the entire layout.
